RÉSUMÉ DU LIVRE
HEAL THE BOY
There are intense encounters that stun you. Without warning. Mine with Sami Basbous, the man of a thousand talents, is one of them. Sami entered my life with his striking words, his infinite talent, his burning truth, his inner music, his singular story and his autobiographical work that pushes the boundaries of the possible and the impossible. Sami plays hide and seek with life; a life he always ends up taming and shaping in his own way to make of it a powerful hymn. Heal the boy is a book that brings together the thousand facets of which Sami adorns himself with grace and passion. He reveals the depths of his soul, down to his darkest recesses on which he projects a light that dazzles with a clarity so raw, it is similar to the burning of a flame that escaped from a fire that nothing would know how to extinguish.

In his autobiographical opus, Sami Basbous aptly and finely describes his experiences that have helped him become what he is today. Through his personal story, Sami recounts his many travels, and a dreamed story of Lebanon before, during, and after the civil war and that of the Lebanese forced into exile.
